My interest with the UX/UI field stems from the potential for innovation. As a designer, I stay current on new ideas and methodologies in order to assess projects through many cultural lenses. I aim to create meaningful experiences for a global user base.

I have extensive background in research, international social psychology, and design. During my 4 years as a social media coordinator, I realized the importance of being a user advocate. I implemented user research techniques and visual design strategies that resulted in a 198.5% growth in user engagement.
As a student, I immersed myself in my university’s research community. Most notably, assisting in a study of human emotions and how they are both expressed and interpreted cross-culturally.

When I’m not at my desk, I take any opportunity to travel. I have an affinity for discovering new places and for making connections with people from backgrounds different from my own. Whether I’m working with a local Korean organization to improve the internal community experience or dabbling in language studies in my free time, I am always searching for ways to become a more culturally-conscious designer.
